We visited Mackenzie University and met the Brazilian engineering students we will be collaborating with on an innovative sustainable energy project. We had two lectures on Sustainable Energies in the US and Brazil and how they differ in supply and applications. We look forward to working on these projects over this week!

May 12-13

We had an eventful weekend! Saturday we toured the neighborhood that we will call home for the next 2 weeks, Villa Madelena. We visited an outdoor market (feira) with South American antiques and Brazilian street food. We saw some amazing street art and visited the Museu do Futebol (Soccer Museum). Sunday we toured Avenida Paulista and had our first Sustainable Energy course!
