We did a lot of sightseeing around Rio de Janeiro today! We saw the Christ the Redeemer, the Escadaria Selaron (Selaron Steps) and finally the sunset at Pao de Acucar. We had our farewell dinner at Carmelo Restaurant.

May 12-13

We had an eventful weekend! Saturday we toured the neighborhood that we will call home for the next 2 weeks, Villa Madelena. We visited an outdoor market (feira) with South American antiques and Brazilian street food. We saw some amazing street art and visited the Museu do Futebol (Soccer Museum). Sunday we toured Avenida Paulista and had our first Sustainable Energy course!
